Astronomowie pokazali szczegóły obszaru gwiazdotwórczego 30 Doradus, znanego też jako Mgławica Tarantula. Wykorzystano nowe obserwacje z Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). Na opublikowanych dzisiaj przez Europejskie Obserwatorium Południowe (ESO) obrazach wysokiej rozdzielczości, wraz z danymi z ALMA, widzimy mgławicę w nowym świetle, z delikatnymi obłokami gazu, które dają wgląd w to, jak masywne gwiazdy kształtują ten rejon.
