Dear <<First Name>>,
We seem to have a bunch of new beginnings to share with you! First and most importantly:
Kaylah Amy Eliana Mead was born at home
on the 1st of
February. The birth went so well and we are all delighted by this "little" blessing (birth weight: 9lbs!) It's hard to believe two weeks have passed already! She is being showered with love from all her siblings while Mum and Dad are playing catch-up with sleep. To see more pictures click for our post on her birthday, Melanie's reflections three days later, and the latest from yesterday.
Hannah and Aliyah were baptised on Sunday morning. We were joined by family and
friends for this special occasion. Both girls gave great testimonies and then Peter had the privilege of doing the deed! It is such an encouragement to see them growing in their faith and being so willing to tell the world about their Saviour. It was great to have the same visiting preacher who spoke the night Peter was saved thirty years ago - Graham Loader from Bristol.
Cor Deo 2012 began at the end of January. The team is smaller than last year, but it has been such a great start to the season (even if Peter has missed a few days due to Kaylah's arrival). We really appreciate your prayers for Cor Deo, as well as the other ministries we are involved in (Ladyfield Church, Pillars Training, OM, etc.) Peter and Ron alternate in offering a thoughtful weekly post on the Cor Deo site, you might want to check it out by clicking here.
We have so much to be thankful for. Thank you for your prayers for us as a family and for the things we are involved in. It is an absolute privilege to be serving together, because of whom we are serving!
Peter & Melanie and the family
