New Year's blessings and heartfelt greetings to each and every one of you!
Contemplative Outreach is celebrating our 30th Anniversary this year … and we have much to celebrate – thirty years of grace and gratitude for the many gifts that we've been given.
Our CO community expanded beyond our imagination, encircling the globe with the love of silence and the commitment to Centering Prayer and contemplative living.  This silent thread connects us one to the other, and fuels the Spirit of love, blessing, forgiveness, gratitude, joy, gentle expectation.
It is the intention of Contemplative Outreach to foster transformation in Christ in one another. We acknowledge that any good coming from Contemplative Outreach over the years is the work of the Holy Spirit and we give thanks for how this co-creation continues to manifest.
May you be blessed abundantly during this year of Grace and Gratitude.  We encourage you to continue your commitment to practice, thereby joining the silent chorus of voices witnessing joy, compassion and Light to a world in need.
With a grateful spirit,

Gail Fitzpatrick-Hopler, President

Fr. Carl Arico
Q: Please advise on the difference between Centering Prayer, contemplative prayer and meditation.
A:  Read Fr. Carl's response.

Q: I have found great satisfaction in applying Centering Prayer in my daily prayer practice. However: I have been suffering from OCD and generalized anxiety for a long time, and so the repetition of the sacred word sometimes proves very difficult. ... What do you recommend for people who suffer from OCD?
A:  Read Fr. Carl's response.
