In April, the Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program changed its affiliation from Selfhelp Community Services, Inc. to the New York Legal Assistance Group, a free legal services organization with which we have long partnered. As a combined agency, we look forward to enhancing our ability to advocate for and provide legal representation to low-income elderly and disabled New Yorkers. After a busy summer, we are happily settling in to NYLAG’s downtown offices. Please note our new contact information below.
All new requests for legal advice, information or representation – Call our intake line at 212-631-7310 or e-mail us at eflrp@nylag.org.
-
We will make every effort to respond to your voicemail or e-mail within 48 hours.
-
We prioritize cases for direct representation based on funding and issues presented.
Contact information for staff – This contact information is provided with the request that you NOT contact staff individually to seek advice on particular legal matters or cases. Please use the intake contacts above for those questions or referrals. Contacting staff directly will only delay our response.
EFLRP staff contact information – Please note the individual fax numbers listed are not working at this time. While they are being restored, please send faxes to GENERAL FAX (212) 967-0725.
Despite our move, we have continued to advocate for New Yorkers navigating the new world of managed long term care. Please check for updates on this and other health matters on our website, NYHealthAccess.org –
