NEW PRODUCT - Spearfishing Adventure in Fiji

It is part of the Fishing Getaways commitment to our clients that we are constantly on the lookout for new and exciting experiences to offer. We have recently experienced some demand from our clientele to put together some options for spearfishing in the South Pacific and this is the first of a range of new Spearfishing Adventures to come in the second half of 2012. Based in the Beqa Lagoon on the south of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu, our spearfishing adventures cater to all levels of experience. If you are a beginner, then this experience will teach you about the techniques, equipment and fish behaviour which are essential parts of this exhilarating underwater sport. A package of 5 days will take you from absolute beginner to a safe a knowledgeable level where you will be chasing the catch of a lifetime. This will not only be a holiday where you can learn a new skill, but a trip that will see you returning home with memories that will rival even the best of your regular fishing adventures!

A full day trip travels to reefs in the Beqa Lagoon and the outer seamounts up to 40 miles offshore and will consist of up to 4 dive locations with at least 5 hours of spearing time in the water. Customized trips to the tip of Kadavu, to hunt various large pelagic species including Wahoo and Marlin, can also be arranged for more experienced clients.
