Issue 12/2014

An update for lovers of contemporary fiction from author Dave Cornford.
Free Stuff
New for free download at Noisetrade is BOTOX APOCALYPSE. It's a speculative tale about what might happen in the future when the side-effects kick in.

Another great free resource is the Live-Fiction Podcast.  Subscribe through itunes and enjoy readings of short stories, novellas and samples of novels.  Subscribe here.

Live-Fiction Gets New Covers
The Live-Fiction series has new covers. The original "newsprint" covers did the job as the series started, but was looking a little tired and inconsistent with the idea of contemporary stories. Thanks to James Stewart for helping with the template.

The stories share colours according to their theme - dramas are purple, sport stories are green, business/finance stories are red, humour is blue.

The collections (Guys Can Read, 7 Deadlies, When Hackers Attack, Sports Pack) will have their own distinct covers according to their audience and genre.
New Release

Jarrod is finally returning to football from a knee reconstruction at the same time that his beloved team, The Reds, are upgrading their player-monitoring system.

Things get complicated when the on-line betting agencies start to lose money on matches played by The Reds, and use their power and influence to force the League into investigating the team and Jarrod in particular. What they do and don't find out will leave you on the edge of your seat.

All Bets Are Off is currently available for pre-sale before it's release on 17 September.  You can reserve your copy here for just $0.99c.
Spin and I Agree are the next two stories under development in the Live-Fiction series.
