The workshop seeks to help bridge the gap in culturally responsive child welfare and foster care services for Muslim communities. The workshop will provide information on:
The definition of child abuse
How ACS hears about cases and how it investigates & refers families
Foster parent recruitment and support
How families can be better supported & how religious leaders can work with ACS & other child welfare agencies
