by the middle of the year, the EU Construction Products Regulation requires Declarations of Performance (DoP) for all permanently installed cables in buildings. In this issue of our newsletter, you will learn what needs to be considered in this matter. Furthermore we provide information on new products, standards and examples from the field.

European Construction Products Regulation

The European Construction Products Regulation

The Construction Product Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 of the European Union makes demands on manufacturers and includes requirements for all permanently installed cables in a building. All new cables introduced into the market must meet the requirements of the regulation by no later than 2017, July 1st. The cables must be tested by notified bodies and the characteristics must be recorded in so called Declarations of Performance (DoP). Find here a short overview about the topics of the regulation and the implementation at Telegärtner.
