Springtime in the high desert of the Great Basin is keeping us on our toes with 75 degree highs, a little blizzard here and there....and now back to 80 degrees. This unpredictable season is a time that taking things for granted could set us up for disappointment. That the weather will be warm each day (especially as we plant the garden), that the Sandhills will still be outside your door tomorrow morning....that this residency session will not come to an end. Change is one of the many things we embrace here at Playa.

As our last residents left and our new residents arrived, we embrace the change of 5 week residencies going by the wayside and 2, 4, 6, and 8 week options now available.

Our new residents have arrived and are deep into their works! Welcome to Elizabeth Bennett (CA), Lynn Cazabon, (MD), Daniel Getzoff, (CA), Cameron Scott, (CO), Amanda Taylor, (CA), Elizabeth Uhlig, (OR), Catherine Woodard, (NY), and Thomas Cummins, (TX). Please think about attending the upcoming PLAYA Presents and see for yourselves what great things our residents are doing.
