Racism in the Catholic Church: BLIND SPOTS
The Knights of Peter Claver and Ladies Auxiliary are sponsoring a Zoom Webinar on Racism this Saturday, April 17 at 1:00 P.M. CDT. To register go to their website - 
Some of the speakers are: Sister Roberta Fulton, Dr. Kathleen Dorsey Bellow, Father Maurice Nutt, Bishop Holley, and Father Manuel Williams
They will explore the following:
1. Lack of diversity in diocesan leadership, hiring and board appointments
2. Racism-a life issue
3. Education in the Church and Catholic Schools
4. Evangelization, retention and bias in vocations
5. Inculturation and acculturation (assimilation to a different culture-typically the dominate one

Racial Wealth & Income Gap Experience, April 26
In Wisconsin, poverty, wealth and income are grossly uneven across racial lines. What accounts for the discrepancies? The St. Catherine and St. Sebastian Facing Racism group invites you to play a game, appropriate to ages 12-adult, to discover some of the historical factors. The game, courtesy of NETWORK (the nuns on the bus), will be played via Zoom on Tuesday April 26 at 6:30 p.m. Contact Jon Metz to register for your Zoom link and instructions.

Racial Justice & Healing Educational Opportunity Tuesday, April 27, 6:30 PM 
Please join the Family of Four parishes on Tuesday, April 27 at 6:30 p.m. for a virtual discussion hosted by our Racial Justice & Healing Committee. We ask participants to watch "Race: The Power of an Illusion: Episode 2 - The Story We Tell" before we gather. A free link to the video will be shared a week before the session. Parish facilitators will lead the conversation, with opportunities for both large and small group discussion.
