Update: Public Meeting - Bus offered for Clock Tower Public Meeting

Residents are invited to attend a public meeting on Monday, May 9 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) to provide their input on a proposed Zoning By-law amendment to permit a seven-storey, mixed-use building at the intersection of Main Street South and Park Avenue.The proposed development would accommodate 165 residential apartment units and five commercial units on Main Street South. Please note that no final decision on the amendment will be made at this meeting.
Where to get on the bus for the Clock Tower Public Meeting
The Town is providing alternative transportation to attend the Public Meeting as parking may be limited, offering a free York Region Transit, 38-passenger bus to stop at the Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive):
  • Bus departs Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive) to Municipal Offices (395 Mulock Drive) at 6:15 p.m. Please arrive at Community Centre by 6 p.m. to ensure you get a seat.
  • Bus scheduled to return to Newmarket Community Centre and Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive) after the meeting adjourns.
