Remember to visit one of Newmarket’s wonderful winter events this holiday season:



Join us from 6 to 9 p.m. every night until January 4, for Winter Wonderland (Sponsored by Buckley’s Insurance), a dazzling lights display at Newmarket Riverwalk Commons (200 Doug Duncan Drive). Enjoy free skating and train rides on the Tim Hortons Express train.




Check out the Newmarket Ice Lounge, complete with outdoor furniture and a TV, it’s the coolest place in Town! Share your moment and take your photo down at the Newmarket Ice Lounge using the three photo frames. Upload your photo using #NewmarketIceLounge and check it out on the onsite photoboard.

Mayor's New Year's Levee

Join the Mayor and members of Council on Sunday, January 4, 2015 (1 to 3 p.m.), for a celebration of the New Year. Enjoy refreshments and entertainment. Free admission. Newmarket Community Centre & Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive) and Newmarket Riverwalk Commons.



Celebrate winter at Newmarket’s annual Winterfest event on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festivities will take place at the Newmarket Riverwalk Commons and the Newmarket Community Centre & Lions Hall (200 Doug Duncan Drive), Fairy Lake Park (Water Street), and various Main Street locations. Don’t miss winter games, hot food, skating, horse drawn wagon rides and more!

Old Town Hall



Renovations of the Old Town Hall are ongoing in preparation for the Grand Opening next year. Construction on the addition at the back of the Old Town Hall will be tented through the winter months, while extensive works continue inside. Stay tuned for more construction updates in the New Year!
