Moving to upgrade the image of its premium Farm-Crafted Potato Vodka, Beattie’s Distillery refreshes its packaging. The  new look arrives in a 750ml private mold tapered flint glass bottle with a medium neck, rounded shoulders and a thick bottom. The Beattie’s name is embossed on the front. Rocktails Unveils Lightly Sparkling Botanical Craft Drink

Craft drinks specialist Rocktails unveils the first lightly sparkling botanical blend in their range, “The Citrus Spritz,” made using distilled botanicals. Johnnie Walker Releases Blenders’ Batch Expression

Diageo’s has extended its Johnnie Walker Blenders’ Batch range with the launch of a Sherry cask-finished expression. The travel retail exclusive blend was inspired by Johnnie Walker Black Label, which has been crafted with an element of Sherry cask maturation. Available in one-liter glass bottles, manufactured by Ardagh Group. The Spirits Business

Buoy Beer Launches Small Batch Series

Oregon’s Buoy Beer Company releases their first packaged specialty beer in February. Love, Lost At Sea 2018 is an American Barleywine aged in Bull Run whiskey barrels. This is the first release of the Small Batch Series, a line-up of limited release beers bottled in 500ml glass bottles. Brewbound

Fentimans Relaunches Following $1.6M Redesign

Fentimans overhauls its image with its first ever rebrand to appeal to a younger audience. The glass packaging redesign is bolder, "with a level of craftsmanship to match the quality of the drinks inside.” Every format will have the same iconic style, with the 125ml on-trade glass bottle moving from green to clear glass to match the wider range. 7-Eleven Unveils Own-Brand Line Of Cold-Pressed Juices 

7-Eleven has launched an own-brand line of USDA-certified organic, cold-pressed juices as it responds to consumer trends for healthier beverages. These are part of its 7-Select GO!Smart line of better-for-you products. The four varieties are sold in the refrigerated section and packaged in 14oz. glass bottles. Funky Buddha Unveils Updated Packaging

Allagash Brewing Company Releases Pastiche

Maine craft brewer Allagash Brewing Company releases its first non-wild, blended, barrel-aged beer. Pastiche, a limited release, will ship to the brewery’s full distribution footprint in 750mL glass bottles. Brewbound

Private-Label Beverages Performing Well

U.S. private-label beverages generated dollar sales of more than $7.8 billion for the 52 weeks ending Oct. 8, a 7 percent increase compared with the prior-year period, IRI data indicates. Both non-alcohol and alcohol private-label beverages outperformed the industry overall. Beverage Industry.
