Catto's Targets Younger Audience With Bottle Redesign

Partnering with Ardagh Group and JDO Brand & Design, Catto's relaunches its Scotch whisky bottle to appeal to a younger audience. The new glass bottle has a contemporary aesthetic while retaining core whisky cues. A debossed feature on the bottle front depicts a ripple effect of waves formed by a boat cutting through the water, enhancing the brand's story. Beverage Daily

Bottlegreen Rolls Out New "Hand Crafted" Package Design

Bottlegreen Drinks Co debuts a new design across its portfolio of Bottlegreen cordials, sparkling pressés, and mixers. The glass bottle shape has been retained but all 21 lines in the range now feature the new logo, hand-drawn by a lettering artist. The new look reinforces the brand’s premium quality and hand-crafted credentials. Bar News

Teeny Water Bottle Proves Great Things Come in Small Packages

Water has become one of the most Instagrammable accessory on the Spring 2016 runway. Expect to see more water popping up on newsfeeds in the form of BKR’s adorably small new glass water bottle. The latest one—appropriately called Teeny, at 250 milliliters—plays kid sister to the company’s two larger versions, with the same narrow-necked, reusable glass body and colorful silicone sleeve. Wine Release Marks 50 Years For Grateful Dead

A limited-edition wine marking the 50th anniversary of rock band the Grateful Dead has been released by Wines That Rock, in partnership with California’s Mendocino Wine Company. Limited at 250 cases, the wine’s label is painted directly onto the bottle and features an image of â€œBertha,” the classic Skull & Roses Grateful Dead logo made popular by the band’s live album Grateful Dead. New Bottle For Ballantine's 12-Year-Old Expression

Ballantine’s blended Scotch whisky has evolved its bottle design to more clearly reflect the premium quality of the expression. The new glass packaging adopts the chevron-shaped label of Ballantine’s Finest, creating a more refined, masculine and eye-catching look on-shelf. The Drinks Report

Students Design Hot New Look For Huy Fong’s Sriracha

First place winner of the 2015 Glass Packaging Design Competition at Michigan State University School of Packaging is a distinctive egg-shaped, clear bottle design for Huy Fong’s Sriracha hot sauce brand. The winning design gives a nod to Huy Fong’s iconic rooster logo and features a chili pepper shaped twist-off cap closure. A pressure sensitive adhesive label gives the bottle a modern, “no-label” look. GlassOnWeb

Bully Boy Introduces Glass-Bottled Old Fashioned

Boston’s Bully Boy Distillers joins the cocktail revolution with a ready-to-drink Old Fashioned. This first limited-edition seasonal arrives in a distinct 750ml glass bottle. “By releasing a bottled version of the quintessential craft cocktail, we’re hoping to give drink enthusiasts a simple, no-fuss way to serve or enjoy a perfectly delicious Old Fashioned.” The Spirits Business

New Look For Corazon Tequila

After launching five years ago, Corazon Tequila unveils a new “uncomplicated” packaging design for its blanco, reposado and añejo expressions. Inspired by “simple elegance” the new design aims to put greater emphasis on the “quality and craftsmanship” of the brand. The Spirits Business and BevNet

Cold Brew Coffee Finds Its Mojo

New Orleans native Ann Brainard founded Mojo cold brew coffee in 2011 in her new home, Massachusetts. First appearing at local farmers’ markets, and then sold in mason jars, Mojo cold brew is now filled in 32 ounce vintage-style glass bottles and available through about 25 retailers in the state. Introducing The Boylan Heritage Line of Craft Cocktail Mixers

New York craft soda company Boylan Bottling teamed up with W&P Design to create the Boylan Heritage line of ready-to-drink cocktail mixers. Created specifically for crafting cocktails, the line includes Boylan Heritage Tonic, Boylan Heritage Club, and Boylan Heritage Ginger in 4-packs of 10-ounce glass bottles. BevNet

Diageo Launches Range of Bottled Whisky Cocktails

Diageo has released a new range of ready-to-serve pre-mix cocktails in the U.S., Studebaker, for a new generation. The current whiskey boom has led to a resurgence of iconic drinks, such as the Old Fashioned and Manhattan, which consumers are again adopting as contemporary favorites. BevNet and Just Drinks

For The Holidays: Champagne In "Squeezed" Gift Boxes

Made from bright, iridescent 100% recyclable paper, the Squeeze gift box provides the finishing touch to two glass-bottled champagnes from Maison Henriot. The new packaged champagnes debut this month at the duty free and travel retail industry TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The Drinks Report
