On Trend: Guinness Launches Non-Alcoholic Beer

Diageo-owned Guinness has issued a “full flavoured, non-alcoholic lager” at Guinness’ experimental St. James’s Gate site in 300ml glass bottles. The beer’s launch comes as the global market for alcoholic drinks shrunk 1.3% in 2016, compared with an average rate of 0.3% in the previous five years. The Drinks Business, Beverage Daily

Bay City Brewing Co. Releases Bottled Beer For First Time

Bay City Brewing Co.'s first glass bottled beer comes from its new Ctrl+Shift+Del series, a line of barrel-aged beers using former wine barrels. Bear Coltridge is being introduced in a limited supply of 750-ml bottles, with a custom label designed by a local artist. Beverage Industry

Bold Rock Hard Cider to Issue Rosé Hard Cider

Virginia’s Bold Rock Hard Cider releases its new seasonal cider, Rosé. “Taking inspiration from wine has afforded us a lot of flexibility in the craft cider world.” Rosé will be on shelves in clear, glass-bottle six packs throughout the cider company’s 10-state distribution area. Brewbound

Koloa Introduces Inaugural Aged Hawaiian Rum

Hawaiian beverage brand Koloa Rum Company has launched Kauai Reserve, a rum which is aged for three years in American white oak barrels. Each of Kauai Reserve’s 12-barrel batches yields approximately 3,500 bottles. Available on the west coast and Hawaii in a premium 750ml glass bottle. FoodBev

Bols Liqueurs Presents New Packaging  

Dutch spirits distiller Lucas Bols debuts new premium labeling on its line of Bols liquers. “We are excited to refresh our packaging with new labels to further highlight our premium position within the liqueurs category.” BevNet

Aldi Partners With Artist On Limited-Edition Wine Labels

Aldi partners with artist, designer and illustrator Timothy Goodman to create labels for a limited-edition reserve wine collection. Known for his bold, text-based murals, Goodman brought his signature hand-illustrated style to a selection of Aldi glass-bottled wines. “Shopping for wine begins with the label.” Beverage Industry

Dogfish Head Debuts "Story Telling" Packaging 

Dogfish Head Distilling unveils a new packaging design with shelf appeal. Hackamore Releases Clear Coffee Energy Shot

Hackamore introduces a new ultra-premium Clear Coffee energy shot with no calories. Hackamore is packaged in a beautiful acid-etched 1-liter glass bottle with a cap/cork finish, allowing bartenders and consumers to serve shots, add into alcoholic cocktails or add energy into water, juice and other nonalcoholic beverages. Four Roses Gets A Packaging Makeover

New packaging for Four Roses “yellow label” is no longer yellow. Four Roses’ regular bourbon, long known as “yellow label,” has redesigned its iconic glass package. Now Four Roses Bourbon, the new label matches that of Four Roses Small Batch and Four Roses Single Barrel. The glass bottle is also finished with a wood top and cork. LexGo
