Macallan Whisky Gives It's Portfolio A Makeover 

Macallan, a single malt Scotch whisky, unveils a new glass bottle design across its portfolio in celebration of the opening of its Speyside, Scotland distillery. New 750ml bottles feature a broad-shoulder with a distinctive chevron cut that tapers toward the neck and a heavier weight. Beverage Industry 

Yoplait Releases New Oui Petite Yogurt Range In U.S. 

General Mills-owned yogurt brand Yoplait has expanded its Oui product line with a new four-flavor range of ‘petite’ pots for the U.S. market. Packaged in 3.5oz glass pots manufactured by O-I, the yogurts will be sold in packs of two. Deli Market NewsFoodBev

Don Julio Launches First New Tequila in 6 Years

Mexico’s Tequila Don Julio, owned by Diageo, announces a new product to its lineup: reposado double cask. Available in a signature, premium 750ml glass bottle. Fortune, FoodBev

Innis & Gunn Targets U.S. Growth With Gunnpowder IPA  

Scottish craft brewer Innis & Gunn aims to expand into the U.S. with the launch of Gunnpowder IPA beer. The “fresh and vibrant” brew is available in a four pack of 11.2oz glass bottles. FoodBev

New Kolibri Glass Bottles Store Sugar In The Lid 

Beatson Clark partnered with beverage brand Kolibri Drinks to create a glass bottle which allows consumers to control the amount of sugar, stored in the bottle cap, in flavored waters. The 300ml glass bottle is a cone-shaped white flint flask made from 30% recycled glass, designed to appeal to the premium retail and restaurant market. FoodBev

Widmer’s New Saison Is First Beer In Reusable Bottles

Widmer Brothers Brewing issues first beer to be part of the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative's reusable glass bottles -- allowing it to be washed and reused up to 40 times. Widmer's new Le Petit Brasseur Saison is packaged in a tall, 500ml amber glass bottle, manufactured by O-I, with a BottleDrop logo indicated it can be returned for reuse. Ommegang's Latest 'Game of Thrones' Beer Arrives 

Ommegang announces the third of its four Game of Thrones beers, a Westeros-themed beer modeled after the Mother of Dragons. Available on September 28 in 750ml amber glass bottles manufactured by Ardagh Group. Fortune, The Drink Nation

Ragu Releases Range Of No-Sugar Added Sauses

Mizkan America’s Ragu brand releases a sauce range with no added sugar and made with 100% olive oil. The four flavors are packaged in 24oz glass jars, manufactured by Ardagh Group, and respond to a survey that found three-quarters of American moms are “worried about the ingredients in their children’s diets." Craft Mixer Brand Launches 'Aromatic' Tonic Water 

Positioning itself in the pink drink trend, British-based beverage manufacturer Fever-Tree, which launched a North American office earlier this year, rolls out a pink tonic water flavored with sweet citrus fruits and exotic spices. St. Elder Natural Elderflower Liqueur Refreshes Look 

To refresh its St. Elder Natural Elderflower Liqueur brand, M.S. Walker, Boston, MA, has updated its packaging. The new private mold 750ml flint glass bottle has slopping shoulders and an embossed St. Elder just below the shoulders with a front and back three-color labels and neck band. BevNet
