Heaven Hill’s Burnett’s Vodka Gets a Redesign

For the first time since its inception 25 years ago, Burnett’s Vodka launches a major redesign of the glass bottle and package to align with continued growth trajectory. Monster Energy Shakes Up Category With First Glass Bottle

Monster Energy hopes to shake up the ready-to-drink coffee category with Caffe Monster, its first product in a glass bottle. The “energy coffee” in a 13.7oz. sleek glass bottle, manufactured by Ardagh Group, hopes to compete with iced coffee lines from Coke and Pepsi. Monster Energy, BevNet

Diageo Extends Casamigos Tequila Line With Mezcal

After acquiring George Clooney’s Casamigos tequila brand last year for $1bn, the booming brand adds Casamigos Mezcal to its portfolio. Each glass bottle is hand-crafted and rubbed to ensure each is different, before being heated, cooled, adding labels and then placing in a lehr (kiln) for curing. Coca-Cola Launches Two Specialty Sodas In Glass Bottles

Food Incubator Packages Micro-Batch IceCream In Glass Jars

Fast growing Superior, Wisconsin craft ice-cream maker, Love Creamery, is now packaging it's ice-cream in reusable and returnable glass jars. "Bringing back ice cream containers seems weird, but it’s the same as what people do with growlers at our local breweries." Fox21 News

On Trend: Pernod Ricard Introduces Pink Beefeater Gin  

Pernod Ricard's Gin Hub releases globally a pink, strawberry-infused Beefeater gin to capitalize on the growing appetite for the spirits among younger consumers. The drink is made with a blend of natural flavors and botanicals, and is packaged in a clear 70cl glass bottle to showcase its vibrant pink color. FoodBev

Augmented Reality Bottle Hits Liquor Store Shelves 

A new Smartphone application turns an ordinary glass liquor bottle label into an immersive customer experience. The applications, built for Australia's Treasury Wine Estates, allows users to fire up the app, point it at the label, which when triggered, has the various characters portrayed on the labels begin to speak. Diageo refreshes the look of its Tanqueray Rangpur gin with a new glass bottle design, following the expansion of the gin into new markets this year. Starr Hill Introduces New Year-Round Golden Ale

Virginia-based Starr Hill Brewery releases Front Row Golden Ale just in time for the warmer months. Paying homage to its roots at the Starr Hill Music Hall, the brew will be available this March in every major music venue in Virginia in 16-ounce cans and 12-ounce glass bottles. All About Beer Magazine

New Limited-Edition Series From Heaven Hill

Heaven Hill Distillery releases a limited-edition series of Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottlings to be released each spring and fall.
