Dear Friend,

Join us as we celebrate the victorious Filipino-Americans who were elected in 2018!

The Filipina Women’s Network and Filipino American Arts Exposition (FAAE/Pistahan) have been convening these FilAm election and victory gatherings since 2006 under the Filipino American Community Forum.

The FilAm Victory gathering is more than a celebration of all the candidates who won in the November 2018 midterm election cycle. It is also a meeting of the incumbent elected officials, appointed commissioners at the local and state levels, consultants/staff members of the elected incumbents, and community leaders who are critical to the FilAm community’s political voice.

We have found that these gatherings inspire our community's next-generation leaders to enter public service. In fact, FilAm millennials have been elected to office in the last couple of years!

The Summit brings together Filipina women global leaders, influencers, thinkers and public figures for discussions, learning journeys, “kwentuhan strategies” on how to succeed as multi-cultural professionals and private chats to ignite cooperation through public and private partnerships. The high-powered gathering is a vital part of FWN’s Pinay Power 2020 Mission: A Filipina leader in every sector of the economy. It is the leading forum of its kind in the Filipina global community, which inspires a renewed understanding of the Filipino culture’s emerging influence as a community. The summit raises funds for FWN’s programs that foster the Filipina women’s socio-economic, political and educational advancement in addition to raising awareness of FWN’s pipeline development of qualified next generation leaders to increase the odds that some will rise to the “C-suite” position. More info:
