CreativeMornings is getting old! What started as a meet-up in Tina’s studio, has since grown to a sixty chapter global organization with chapters ranging from Ottawa to Oslo. Connect the dots.
Last month, the topic of "Urbanism" sprawled from Bangalore to Johannesburg. The theme this past month was "Connect" brought to you by Mailchimp. The theme was chosen by our Vancouver organizer Mark Busse and his team and our illustration was created by Vancouver-based illustrator Tom Froese.

The topic of Connect resonated with us on a few levels. At CreativeMornings, we believe in the power of physical connections, getting offline and meeting people face to face. That being said, we can't ignore the impact of our digital networks that influence our work and offer up new perspectives. The parallel of online and offline connections was a common thread through many of this month's talks.

In Vancouver, Matthew Clark shares a personal story of "Synapses and Synecdoches"—how his brain works and how that effected where he is today. Jay Fanelli, co-founder of the Cotton Bureau, gives a talk on how he is in the "connection business" at our Pittsburgh chapter. Brooklyn-transplant Ron J. Williams speaks at our Prague chapter on the value of relationships, as each one is an opportunity to build something amazing. We couldn't agree more.
