Latest and Greatest

This June, we tackled the topic of Minimal across a maximum of 86 chapters, hosting events around the globe. From Miami to Vienna, speakers stripped this theme down to its bare essentials, speaking on what minimal means in design, business, and life—causing us to ask, what could we live without?

A few highlights from this month:
  • Jeff Goodby of Goodby Silverstein & Partners spoke at our Oakland chapter on the reductive process required for creating effective messaging. Got milk?
  • "The fact that we know that we are going to die one way or another should be motivating us to do exactly what our hearts tell us we should be doing all the time," says Philippa Hughes in her CreativeMornings/DC talk. See it here.
  • Illustrator extraordinaire Ami Plasse beautifully documented CreativeMornings/Austin.
  • In Seattle, Lee LeFever hit the jackpot making videos in a makeshift video studio, but quickly found that "our incomes went up, but our happiness went down." Watch his talk.
  • Martin Slechta captured some gorgeous photos from CreativeMornings/Prague's Birthday!
