Thank you!
We hope you had as much fun as we did.
Thanks for celebrating our second season with us! Here’s a review of everything that went down last night—all the great Austin people & businesses involved. Look to these fine folks for your next great collaboration.
VENUE: Last night, we were privileged to take over Idean’s beautiful Austin office. If you loved their space and designing brilliant user experiences, they’re hiring!
QUESO: Rolling in with three different types of queso was Lindsey from ConQueso. We hope you tried the breakfast queso she made especially for us!
CUPCAKES: Rocking the cupcake game was Michael from EatMeAustin. Did you try “The Elvis?â€
DRINKS: Hops & Grain and Tito’s came through with libations, delivered by the TopShelf app—who saved us from running out of beer and liquor at the last minute.
LIVE MUSIC: We experienced the lovely sounds of Eric Bettencourt and Nick & Paige. It’s not every day you get to hear such soulful performers.
POETRY: The poem you heard last night was something special. It was the result of mind-blowing collaboration. Did you realize none of the words were written by the poet? Read about it and the entire poem.
PARTY MIX: The party mix you heard at the start of the night was curated by Soundnoodle. They compose original, make-to-order music and sound for storytellers. Make their Spotify playlist the soundtrack you use to finish out the work week.
PHOTOBOOTH: Dave and the Smilebooth team kept things light, goofy and sometimes weird. Check out all of the Smilebooth photos.
PHOTO/VIDEO: We’ll post photographs from the event by Sarah Natsumi to our flickr account soon. Scott Clark was there to capture the poetry, and we thank him—as always—for documenting our efforts.
SOCIAL: Share your good times, photos and videos with us! @CM_Austin on Twitter & search #CMATX. Tag us in your Instagram photos, too: @cm_austin.
JOIN US AGAIN: Our next event is May 15 with the theme of "Robots!" Event and registration details are live.
