B I G   N E W S!!!!  
Dear friends, 

There hasn't been a newsletter or mention of a Tartine Afterhours dinner for months, because I've been healing from knee surgery and mostly hiding underground, trying to finish my book proposal.  But...
 
 
I am delighted to announce that my proposal is done, and I have the book deal of my dreams!  Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, illustrated by the fantabulous Wendy MacNaughton, will be published by Simon & Schuster in the Spring of 2015.  My full-time job for the next year is to write the heck out of this book, so I'm gonna tone down the number of events I do.  But fret not, I'm committed to continuing Tartine Afterhours for as long as they will have me, so we'll be back in April with a mole poblano feast!

TARTINE AFTERHOURS is back!  
Wednesday, April 17th at 8pm


After all of these months of resting and healing and writing, we are SO READY to bring Tartine Afterhours back for all of our Bay Area friends!  I stocked up on the very best mole paste I could find in Mexico on my recent trip, and we are going to have SUCH AN AWESOME PARTY to celebrate our return to these monthly feasts.  Heirloom beans, check.  Tender roast chicken marinated in mole, check.  Warm corn tortillas, check.  Micheladas, check!  It's gonna be so tasty!  We can't wait to see you there!
