CPHC® Training Updates: NYC Phase II Online Starts May 4

The NY Phase II, in-class CPHC program scheduled for March 16 - March 20 was cancelled because of the coronavirus.

We're happy to announce that Phase II, typically an in-class program, has been reformulated as an all-online learning experience.

This first online Phase II session is dedicated to enrollees in the postponed NYC Phase II In-Class program. PHIUS will make the online Phase II program more broadly available soon.
  • The new online Phase II will not require five consecutive days of sessions. Instead, it's designed to allow students to complete the program over several weeks as convenient.
  • The program will comprise live sessions (which will be recorded for later review), group projects, homework activities, and other pre-recorded material.  .

Call for Abstracts: Deadline Extended to April 27

Amid these extraordinary circumstances, we've heard from lots of you who want to submit an abstract to present this year’s 15th Annual PHIUS North American Passive House Conference, but could use a little more time.

Consequently, PHIUS is making a one-time extension, moving the deadline from April 13 to April 27. Remember, the abstract is limited to 500 words, so you can do it!

Presented in partnership with NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority), the conference will be held in Tarrytown, New York, proximate to fantastic passive projects in New York City as well as the Hudson Valley.

Deadline for abstracts: April 27, 2020
Pro Tip: Complete your abstract off line and save the doc. Then copy and paste the info into the online form to avoid losing your work to an online glitch.
