Festive Singing
Children have begun learning some festive songs in school which we'd like to share with the community. On 15 December we will walk to Barton Park housing and sing our songs between the lake and the Mosaics office. We would love you to join us - albeit at a social distance! We will take some PE cones to mark out a safe distance between us and our audience. We will also be ensuring we meet the latest government guidance about singing by standing side by side, rather than facing each other. This event will be videoed and put on Tapestry, in case you can't join us. We really want an audience, so it will be advertised to the Barton Park community via our social media channels.  If you would like to help us walk children to the venue, please let us know - adult helpers are always welcome!

Video and Virtual Q&A
We haven't been able to welcome visitors into school over the last few weeks so we made a video giving prospective parents an insight into Barton Park School.
Watch the Barton Park School Video

We are hosting a virtual Q & A on Friday 4th December with Mrs McCraw. If you know of any families who are considering sending their child to Barton park primary School, please spread the word.
Thank you to the children, parents and staff who contributed to our Penalty Shoot Out a couple of weeks ago. It was lovely to see the Barton Park school community come together and we raised £58 and have bought a 'Gift of Music' and a 'Gift of Football' for Helen and Douglas house.
Lantern Parade

We hope some of your were able to join us on Friday and watch the lantern parade. We'll post a video of the parade on Tapestry soon.

The lanterns will be displayed in a covered outdoor area at the front of school for one week, so that our community can enjoy the lights. They will be switched on at 4pm and off at 6pm, should you and your child wish to see them. On Friday 4th December we will send the lantern home with your child for them to keep. Should you wish your child to have the light that goes inside the lantern, we respectfully ask for a voluntary donation of £1, to cover the cost of purchasing these. £1 can be given to the office staff at pick up time any day next week. Many thanks for your support.
