Have a Great Half Term!

Thank you for all your involvement and support in our first few weeks!

We hope your families have a restful half-term break and we look forward to seeing the children back in school at 8.30 on Monday 2 November.
After School Clubs
Thank you for filling in the questionnaire, registering your interest. We will be running trial clubs during the first two weeks. Your first session for each will be free of charge - so why not send your child along and see if they like it? If we have enough interest and the children enjoy the clubs, we will continue running these with a nominal charge of £3 per session.  Each session runs until 4:15 with a final pick up time of 4:30pm.

Wednesday
Arts and Crafts  (note changed from Monday) with St Marys Church
Thursday
Sports Club with Miss Parsons
Friday
(from 13 November) Art Club with Mrs Walker

We will send a sign-up sheet to parents on our first day back next term.

Barton Community Larder

The Larder runs every Tuesday from the sports hall at the Neighbourhood Centre between 2.00pm & 6.00pm. It is open to everyone, regardless of income.

£14 per month direct debit gives you access to 10 food items & some fruit & veg, £28 per month direct debit (for families) gives you access to 20 food items & some fruit & veg. Occasionally bread is available but not guaranteed.

Oxford City Council are paying the £10 joining up fee. When you sign up, the system may tell you that it will take the £10 joining up fee with your first payment. However this will be amended and it won’t be taken as Oxford City Council will pay it instead. We cannot accept payment on the day, you MUST pay through direct debit

You need to sign up here - https://www.sofea.uk.com

Until the end of October, Barton Community Association are running a BOGOF (buy one get one free) offer for members with an OX3 postcode only where you will pick your 10 (or 20 for a family membership) from the Larder and we will match it with another 10 (or 20 for a family membership) items that you can choose from our food stock.

If you are struggling with signing up, we can do it on the day providing you bring your bank details with you.
Any questions please get in touch with Sue either on 07866 460446 or sue@bartoncommunityassociation.com.

Please wear a face covering and practise social distancing both inside and outside. Bring your own bags.

Barton Community Larder really is the best thing since sliced bread!

Next term, Acorns will be learning about celebrations around the world.
Could you come in and talk to the children about celebrations that are special in your family? Let Mrs Morgan know if you can help!
