Greetings High Country Friends,

If you like Theatre and a Classic story, you can win FREE TICKETS to "To Kill A Mockingbird" at the Ashe County Civic Center THIS WEEKEND.  We are giving away multiple pairs of tickets, so click the link above to cast your name into the ballot.  We pick our winners Thursday afternoon.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those along the SE Coast who are prepping and evacuating for the arrival of Hurricane Matthew.  Having grown up on the SC coast, I know it can be a stressful time. Many are headed up here to the High Country, so let's make them all feel welcome.

Festival season is in high gear and it's a great time of year to get out and about and experience all the High Country has to offer.

As always, it's FREE and EASY to post your own public event on the calendar. You can sign up for an account in just a few seconds and start posting today.
