After almost 4 years of harmonizing bliss, I will no longer be playing regularly with Karina Denike. The hardest part of moving from this beautiful city of San Francisco is leaving the Karina Denike Band. It is rare to find someone with such talent and grace as Karina. It has been an honor to perform her arrangements and compositions, not to mention how wonderful it is to work with the rest of the band! Karina taught me the ropes of the music business: how to tour, how to book shows, how to lead a band. She has inspired some of my best songs, and continues to be a source of much needed and appreciated creative support.
Please join us for our last big hurrah at Bottom of the Hill for a killer line-up of San Francisco bands. And, oh yeah, it's my birthday party! It would mean so much to me to see you there. No gifts please, but I love cards ♡, Meow.
We recently toured in NY to packed houses and dropped-jawed audiences. Here is a picture from the Rock Shop in Brooklyn, NY July 2011.
Featured: Michael McIntosh on keys, Eric Garland on drums, Aaron Novik on bass clarinet, James Frazier on Fender VI, Lily Taylor backing vocals, and the lovely Karina Denike.
