Introducing the Jive Up

The Jive Up is an innovative and exciting new power chair we are pleased to able to offer.  An evolution of the Jive family, the Quickie Jive Up allows the user to be more independent as this standing chair provides a variety of sitting and standing positions.  With five pre-defined seat positions, SpiderTrac suspension and improved possibility of pressure relief, the chair offers indoor agility and high outdoor performance.  Discover more about the Jive Up here.
What's Your Attitude?

We are very excited to have the Quickie Attitude Power and Hybrid hand bikes in our showroom available for test drive.  The fabulous Quickie Attitude is also now compatible with even more Quickie chairs allowing more of customers to have the opportunity to own an Attitude.  The hand bike is available in three versions, Manual, Hybrid and Power which you can find out more about on our website.
Have You Heard of Decembeard?

Decembeard is a fantastic campaign that aims to raise money in order to beat bowel cancer.  The campaign encourages people during the month of December to grow a beard, or if you already have one, decorate it, dye it, it's up to you!  There are a variety of ways you can take part, to find out more and to sign up, visit the Decembeard website.
The Quickie Xenon 2 is Here!
 
The Quickie Xenon 2 has launched and we love the colour choices!  With 32 to choose from there are lots of exciting possibilities.  Superseding the original Xenon wheelchair, the Xenon 2 is available in three different frame options.  The Xenon 2 FF - The Lightest, Xenon 2 Hybrid - The Strongest and the Xenon 2 SA -The All Rounder.  Which one will you choose?

Better Mobility will be attending a mobility show in mid October where Invacare will be launching two new power chairs.  The first is the TDX 2 Ultra which incorporates new seating and highly adjustable positioning and the second is the Pronto Air PT which offers a minimalist design, quiet motor and compact base.  We are looking forward to having them available for our customers.
October is Lupus Awareness Month

October marks Lupus awareness month in the UK, the condition can involve a variety of symptoms but the most reported appear to be joint and muscle pains and extreme fatigue and weakness.  Lupus tends to be an invisible condition meaning that there are no visible symptoms and those that have it generally look healthy and well.  To find out more about the signs and symptoms of Lupus and how you can get involved this awareness month, visit the Lupus UK website.     
October Means It's Halloween!
 
We love these Halloween costumes that have been designed around wheelchairs.  If you come up with a costume that features your wheelchair or mobility aid, please send us a picture, we'd love to see them!
