Coming Soon...The Quickie Attitude

We are looking forward to Sunrise launching the Quickie Attitude range of hand bikes in March.  Designed to attach to the frame of a rigid wheelchair in just seconds, the lightweight and modern design comes in a variety of colours allowing you to individualise your hand bike.  The hand bike will be available in three options, manual, hybrid and power, we can't wait to try one out, watch this space for more details.
Invacare Special Colours

Invacare have recently updated the colour options available for a variety of their manual and powered wheelchairs.  We're very excited about this change as it means alongside the standard colour options available, your chair could be made in almost any colour you can imagine.  Just two of the chairs included in this change are the Action 3 NG and Action 4 NG.  If you're interested in a paticular chair and would like to know if the special colour option is available, give us a call and we'll be happy to help.
Come and Visit Us!

Not only do we sell wheelchairs, they are also available to hire.  We have a fantastic range of chairs available to see and try at our showroom in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, or we are always happy to come to you.  Whatever questions or requirements you have, we are here to help.

Maxxcare Heel Boot

The Maxxcare heel boot is designed for users at high risk of developing pressure ulcers and is also suitable for those with existing pressure ulcers as the heel is offloaded and still exposed to circulating air.  The boot can be used in both sitting or reclined positions and ensures optimum pressure relief.  We have a range pressure relief products available on our website.

The Storm 4 X-Plore has four wheel suspension which allows the user to drive confidently on various types of terrain.  It is ideal for those wanting to enjoy more freedom and provides a great combination of comfort and outdoor driving.  Available in  six standard colours, the chair also has the special colour option available.  Also compatible with Invacare's True Track motors, this option enables the user to drive further and faster.

Get to Know the Team!

We think it would be great for you to meet the people behind the name and thought it would be fun to share some of the Better Mobility team's baby pictures with you.  This month is of Chloe, our Web and Marketing Assistant.  Chloe started with us in August 2014 and is the person behind our web content, social media updates and monthly newsletter. Chloe is able to help you locate a product or any information you need on the website, from chairs to walking aids! She can also help with any enquiries about daily living aids that we stock in the showroom. So if you have a question that relates to any of this, get in contact!
Team Better Mobility!

Four of the Better Mobility team members will be undertaking the Isle of Wight Challenge on 2-3 May 2015 and the London 2 Brighton Challenge on 23-24 May 2015.  For each challenge, they will be undertaking the 100 km distance which can be completed through a combination of walking and jogging.  Each challenge will take around 20 hours straight and  we are hoping to raise £475 per team member making a grand total of £1900.  The money raised will go to two charities with great meaning to us, these are, Dogs for the Disabled and Cardiac Risk in the Young.  If you would like to sponsor the team we would be very grateful, please visit our Just Giving page.
