Independent  Occupational Therapy Assessments

Better Mobility are pleased to be working with Independent OT, Natasha Taper.  Although our team is highly skilled themselves in the field of mobility equipment, and assistive technology, we may ask Natasha to accompany us for highly complex assessments.  Having the expertise of an independent Occupational Therapist would be beneficial to help our customers achieve their desired outcome. How about a Kuschall Advance?

The Kuschall Advance is a lightweight rigid wheelchair, with its seat plate made from carbon it increases the rigidity of the entire chair.  The wheelchair features a quick release front end to allow for different frame angles and the possibility of adding bike attachments.  This option also allows for easier transportation, or if you fancy a change in frame colour!

We can assist you in tailoring the Kuschall Advance to meet the users' needs, find out more on our website or please do not hesitate to contact us.

Big Dog's Breakfast Month!
Dogs for the Disabled are encouraging people to take part in their Big Dog's Breakfast during September and it's not too late to get involved.  They are asking people to hold a breakfast event where donations are requested in order to raise money for Dogs for the Disabled.  The breakfast can be held at any time of day and can be as small or large an event as you would like.  If you would like to get involved, please visit the Dogs for the Disabled website.

Pictured above is Cleo an assistance dog originally from Dogs for the Disabled.  She came to visit Better Mobility at the beginning of the summer and was enjoying a rest while her companion was at school.
