The Word On The Street June

“It’s far more important to know what person the disease has than what disease the person has”
– Hippocrates

On behalf of the communications team at Doctors Without Walls – Santa Barbara Street Medicine (DWW-SBSM), I would like to thank you for reading this issue of The Word on the Street. This is our newsletter designed to keep volunteers and our Santa Barbara community informed and educated about our organization and issues related to the Santa Barbara homeless community. It gives us the opportunity to hear stories from our volunteers who take time out of their busy days to meet the highest need patients in our community and to hear stories from the people we serve.
