Anti-Social Behaviour Public Space Protection Order for Worcester City Centre
Worcester City Council is considering the implementation of a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to reduce Anti-Social Behavior (ASB) in the city centre.
A final draft of a PSPO has been developed based on multi-agency conversations held during 2018 and an eight-week public consultation carried out between February 2019 and April 2019. Both these pieces of work informed reports that were presented to the Communities Committee in February 2019, October 2019 and March 2020
The Draft Worcester City Centre PSPO includes provisions relating to:
Prohibition of the intentional feeding of gulls;
Prohibition of aggressive begging, and
Prohibition of dangerous skateboarding and cycling.
The introduction of a PSPO must involve a public consultation on the wording of the Order and so the City Council is now seeking your feedback, the results of which will be further considered before a final decision is taken on implementation.

Footfall Reports Worcester City Centre
Please note reported issues with counters on the 9th &10th August. Pump Street 100% no count due to power cut.
WRS can collect stray gull chicks from city centre streets and remove them to an animal hospital where they will be rehabilitated and ultimately released into a rural coastal environment. They have a contractor on standby to do this. Any requests in this regard can be directed through to Gordon Dugan on 07917592887.
