£50 million boost to support recovery of our high streets

A new £50 million fund for councils to support their local high streets get safely back to business was announced on 24th May by High Streets Minister Simon Clarke.

The Reopening High Streets Safely Fund has been introduced to prepare for the reopening of non-essential retail when the scientific advice allows. The Reopening High Streets Safely Fund will help councils in England introduce a range of safety measures in a move to kick-start local economies, get people back to work and customers back to the shops.

Business Support Survey

As the government starts to relax restrictions on business trading and social interaction, Worcester BID and Worcester City Council are seeking views from businesses about their plans for the next phase of recovery. Please complete this survey to let us know your plans so that we can put in place measures to support businesses across the city. All answers are optional and no individual responses will be made public. Closing date for the survey is Saturday 30th May 2020
