Four entries for the Road to Le Mans

There’s a familiar feel to the Nielsen Racing entry list for next weekend’s Road to Le Mans event at Circuit de la Sarthe. The British-based team will field three Ligier JS P320s and one Duqueine in the blue riband event, with a bumper 46-car field expected to compete in the two 55-minute races.

Tony Wells and Colin Noble are right in the hunt for the Michelin Le Mans Cup, just two points shy of the series leader off the back of the recent race win at Paul Ricard and fighting third position at Monza. The duo team up for the seventh time together at the event and will run the #7 Ligier LMP3.

Team regulars Mark Crader and Alex Mortimer continue their long-term partnership in the #20 Grainmarket Racing Duqueine M30, as do European Le Mans Series regulars Nick Adcock and Max Koebolt in the #27 Ligier.

The #28 Ligier will be raced by Steven Thomas and Tristan Nunez. The US pairing race together in the WeatherTech SportsCar championship, most recently taking victory at Watkins Glen and following it up with another podium. The latter finished second in the Rolex 24 in 2020 and together will be a strong Pro-Am pairing.
