Daniel C. Malone, RPh, PhD, a professor at the UA College of Pharmacy, has received a five-year, $1.58 million grant to develop algorithms that provide relevant, patient-specific alerts about drug interactions.

Douglas L. Taren, PhD, associate dean for academic affairs and professor of public health at the UA Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, has been named editor-in-chief of the journal Nutrition Reviews.
