  • Advising commissioners and funders on employment and skills responses to Covid-19 including mapping need, services and impact and evaluating cost-benefit returns on interventions.
The role of the employment and skills sector in helping people get back into and sustain work is critical to the success of the economic recovery and never has the work of the employment and skills sector been so vital.

We can help you maximise the impact of what you do.

1. SERVICE DESIGN
The Rocket Science approach to service design is focused on designing high performing services, that meet the needs of commissioners, deliver contractual obligations, and deliver benefit to the people accessing services.

Our approach includes: understanding local needs and developing a local evidence base specific to the geography; designing a bid winning delivery solution that meets the needs of commissioners; adapting the service to meet specific needs in each area.

We will help you to navigate complexity and turn it into a simple, and operationally viable solution.
We are experienced in co-production and co-design techniques, working with your internal teams, as well as working with frontline staff and ‘experts by experience’.

2. SUPPLY CHAIN AND PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Rocket Science has significant expertise in building bid winning, high performing supply chains and helping providers build relationships with key stakeholders. The CAEHRS framework will require specialist delivery partners – and strategic partners – in each geography.

We can work with you to design a supply chain solution, identify partners, assess their suitability and map against the specification.

We can also support developing the processes for procurement and contracting, as well as designing
robust supply chain management systems.

3. POLICY, RESEARCH AND STRATEGY
We can help you keep up to date with latest research and policy on the impact of Covid-19, how this will affect local places and suggest solutions and approaches for you to take to partners and commissioners. We have a wide range of expertise in conducting short evidence reviews, through to large scale data analysis and mapping to help commissioners and providers plan and evolve services.
