UBI (Urban Butterfly Initiative) Update
Congratulations to the Urban Butterfly Initiative on Charleston, IL being named the
Butterfly Capital of Illinois!
You might have noticed some changes around library property...the library's UBI hot spot has expanded past our parking lot medians! The surrounding property was seeded last fall by UBI & volunteers and we are starting to see some growth popping out of that straw! We are also seeing some new growth in our median hot spots! Please remember to use the the path ways and avoid walking in the medians so we can continue to provide plants and a happy habitat for our visiting butterflies!
