Spring is right around the corner!

Clean Air Day is Wednesday, June 4th!

The Clean Air Day Commuter Challenge gives schools a special chance to encourage students to walk, bike or skate to school.

Clean Air Day is a chance to celebrate our environment by keeping our air clean, to share walking safety skills with children, to bring safety to our neighborhoods and reduce crime, to address traffic congestion, pollution and speed around our schools, and to spend valuable time with one another.

All great reasons to get your school and community involved!

Thousands of Manitoba school children will join students from across Canada to celebrate walking to school on June 4th, 2014 for Clean Air Day.  Join the celebration!

Family Winter Cycling Celebration a Success!

On Friday, February 14th, 2014 the ASRTS Program and Mountain Equipment Coop hosted a winter-cycling fun day!  Participants took a test-ride on our kid-friendly bike safety course, followed by a jaunt on the Red River Mutual Trail.  It was especially fun to keep warm with s'mores and hot chocolate by the fire after the ride.

Bespoken

What do you get when you challenge yourself to make a symphony using only bike parts?  Sound designer and composer Johnnyrandom (Steven Baber) wanted to find out.  Over a period of seven months he clanged, banged and tweaked road and mountain bike parts, recorded the sounds and layered them into a beautiful, charged instrumental that might surprise you...  Take a listen.
