Marv VandenBosch (2337 Valarie Dr., Zeeland) has been having some challenging health issues recently. So far he has started some new regimens to raise Vitamin D levels and also had an MRI to help investigate other issues. Please pray for insight for the doctors as they work to diagnose the concerns.
Vern DeVries’ (230 S. State St., #91, Zeeland) recent results from his heart monitor showed that his heart is strong, no issues currently.
Marcia Brower’s brother-in-law, Ken Glupker, recovering from COVID, still has a trach but has been transferred to Mary Free Bed for rehab.
Tom Wentzel (8555 Quincy St., Zeeland) is off the ventilator but has now developed an infection in his lungs, extending his hospital stay.
Melissa VanHoven (9000 Ransom St., Zeeland) is in ICU, off the ventilator, breathing on her own, and getting stronger every day. Please pray for her kidneys to function better so she can be off dialysis and move to Mary Free Bed for rehab.
Austin Boersema (3484 Sage Creek Dr., Zeeland) has had targeted radiation treatments over the past two weeks, and they are hoping to start chemotherapy on May 18th. He is also waiting on information about a new clinical trial. Please pray for strength and patience with treatment and testing/results.
Ben Terpstra (11059 Stanton St., West Olive 49460) had successful hip replacement surgery on May 12th and hopes to be discharged within a day or two.
Gloria DeKam (1689 W. Clearwater Dr., Zeeland) has been diagnosed with Metastatic Malignant Melanoma. We put our trust and future in the hands of our loving all-knowing God, and we trust Him for strength, peace and healing as we face the unknown. We covet your prayers and words of encouragement.
Richelle Hofman (216 Haymarket, Holland 49423) will be having a knee manipulation procedure on May 17th., followed by intense physical therapy. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated as this is an unexpected and significant setback in her recovery.
Kim Haveman (12151 Forest Ct., Holland 49424) is scheduled to have surgery on her foot on May 17th.
Jen Brouwer (1433 Feldspar Ave., Zeeland) is scheduled for the start of reconstruction surgery on May 17th, and after more than a year of chemo treatments every three weeks, they will end on June 22nd.
Rajean Wolters (1333 Savannah Dr., Zeeland) has been having heart issues since her bout with COVID early January and will be having a heart catheterization on May 18th.
Judy Timmer (8132 Felch St., Zeeland) has minor knee surgery scheduled on May 19th.
