Weekly Bulletin
June Birthdays
We express our sympathy to Sandra DeWys (12884 Sapphire Pkwy, Holland 49424) in the passing of her brother-in-law, Dave Diepenhorst.

Vern & Joyce Barkel’s son, Rodney, had pneumonia and a mass in his lung at the end of April, is on oxygen and under Hospice care. 

Austin Boersema (3484 Sage Creek Dr., Zeeland)  Pre-chemo tests revealed some significant concerns, so he is home, working to regain strength, and under Hospice care. They are very grateful for all the care, cards, and meals that the church family and friends have shared with their family.

Jen Brouwer (1433 Feldspar Ave., Zeeland) had a successful Latissimus Flap procedure last week but went back to the hospital for another short stay this week to address signs of infection and blood loss.  She’s recovering at home now.  Please pray for healing and insight.

Larry Geuder (27 S. Zeeland Parkway, Zeeland) had a bad fall this week resulting in a broken bone in his hand and injury to the C1 vertebrae.  He’ll be in a hand splint for 4 weeks and neck brace for at least 8 weeks, 24/7.  Pray for comfort and healing for Larry, and for all that Dawn needs as she cares for him.  

Shirley Wissink (10686 Brookview Dr., Zeeland) is doing well after receiving a pacemaker last week. 

Rick DeVisser (286 Dartmouth Ave., Holland 49423) had surgery for prostate cancer on May 27th.  It went very well, and he hopes to be discharged before the weekend. 

Tom Wentzel (8555 Quincy St., Zeeland) is improving daily at Mary Free Bed and hopes to be discharged this weekend.    

Gloria DeKam (1689 W. Clearwater Dr., Zeeland) will begin radiation next week, 10 treatments over 2 weeks.  They will begin immunotherapy after the radiation treatments have concluded.  Please continue to pray for strength and healing for Gloria. 
  
Melissa VanHoven (9000 Ransom St., Zeeland) has been transferred to Mary Free Bed for rehab.  Praise the Lord for healing over the past five weeks, and pray for continued health!  Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Blodgett Spectrum Hospital for the care that they have given!  Thank you for all your prayers!    

Wanda Bohl (1752 Lakeview Dr., Zeeland) will be having knee replacement surgery on June 2nd

Tracy Lucarelli’s dad, Butch, is doing much better and is grateful to be back in Michigan. 

I want to thank everyone for your prayers, calls, cards and concern during my  heart surgery. We felt the peace from the Holy Spirit through it all. I am recovering well and know I am in God’s hands.  Jim VanHuis
