Starting May 1st facility access and use will return to pre-COVID guidelines.  The Saturday evening services have been discontinued, however we will continue to designate the east wing at the Daybreak (8:45am) service on Sundays for those who prefer to a wear a mask and keep space between yourself and others.
Weekly Bulletin
Jodi Ensing (10936 2 Trax Trl, West Olive 49460) The pathology report showed that the tumor was pre-cancerous, and she will not need any further treatment, only periodic testing.  Praise God! 

Paula Glass (12055 Croswell, West Olive 49460) is home from Florida after receiving treatment in a hospital there for mesenteric panniculitis.  She is still sick and in quite a bit of pain.  Please pray for answers and relief from pain.

Brent Scholten’s mom, Louise, passed away on April 3rd following a stroke in mid-March.  Please keep Brent & Amanda (10451 Mary Ann St., Zeeland), Khloe, Ella, and Grayson in your thoughts and prayers.      

Joyce Torrence’s (2472 Sawtooth Ct., Holland 49424) recovery from back/neck surgery is going very slowly, and she still has significant pain. Please keep her in prayer. 

Loie DeVries’ (230 S. State St., #91, Zeeland) radiation treatment was successful, and she is currently cancer free!  Praise the LORD! 

Melissa VanHoven (9000 Ransom St., Zeeland) is home! Praise the Lord for answered prayers! Thank you for all your prayers and concerns - they are so appreciated.

Jeanne Sovienski’s (767 S. Meadow Ct., Holland 49423) granddaughter, Brittnee, is being transferred to The Laurel’s in Wayland on April 8th.  Praise God!  Please pray for a smooth transition. 

We express our sympathy to Judy Nykamp (10684 W. Stockbridge Ct, Zeeland) in the passing of her husband, Norm.  Also, sympathy to children and grandchildren: Amanda & Trevor Merritt (Kaylee Twork and Taylor Twork) and Brian & Ginny Ruch (Brianna, Alayna, and Joe), and sister Jan & Rog DeLong (11489 North Lake Drive, Holland 49424).  Please pray for comfort and peace for Judy and family during this difficult time.  Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday, April 12, at Community. The memorial service will be 11am Tuesday, April 13, also at the church. 

Congratulations to Chase & Molly Pyle (8118 Quincy St., Zeeland) on the birth of Colton Henry, born on March 11th. 
Congratulations to Dan & Katelyn Veenema (11730 Olive Lake Dr., West Olive 49460) on the birth of Easton Neal, born on March 26th.

We express our sympathy to Bobbie Jo Bruursema (7750 104th Ave., Zeeland) and family in the passing of her mother-in-law, Joyce Bruursema, on March 31st. 

We express our sympathy to Myrt Garvelink (10505 Chicago Dr., Zeeland) and family following the passing of Ollie on March 30th. 

Rick Zuverink (4140 88th Ave., Zeeland) had knee replacement surgery and is doing well, recovering at home.   

Richelle Hofman (216 Haymarket, Holland 49423) had successful knee replacement surgery - the implant fit perfectly, and she is recovering at home.   

Lydia Bouwens (age 12), daughter of Tom & Teresa (1488 Savannah Dr., Zeeland) had an MRI that showed no growth in the tumor (Optic Glioma). Treatments will continue over the next several weeks.

Austin Boersema’s (3484 Sage Creek Dr., Zeeland) scan results show some stable spots and some areas of small growth, overall a good report.  He will be starting a new immunotherapy soon.  Please keep praying! 

Bob Rigterink (75 Old Mill Dr., Unit #14, Holland 49423) has been diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma and is waiting to find out the plan of treatment.

Karla Reeves, daughter-in-law of Gord & Shirley Reeves, continues to make slow but continuous improvement at Blodgett Rehab and hopes to be released sometime this month.  Praise God for every day. Thanks for praying.

Dear Community Family: Although my iron deficiency is a chronic problem, I am grateful to be able to say presently I feel much better after getting two infusions of iron.  Thank you so much to those who supported me through prayer, text, cards, and phone calls while I was waiting for my doctor to take some action.  Blessings, Kim Parker
