The Elders have affirmed that starting May 1st, we will move into Phase 3, which means facility access and use will return to pre-COVID guidelines.  The Saturday evening services will be discontinued after April 3rd, however we will continue to designate a “mask” section (east wing) at the Daybreak (8:45am) service on Sundays.

Reading Guide for Lent
Grady Fraaza (age 10), son of Ryan & Tamara (7139 Ransom St., Zeeland), will have surgery on March 26th, to remove hardware from his leg (due to an accident last April).

Richelle Hofman (216 Haymarket, Holland 49423) is scheduled to have knee replacement surgery on March 29th. Please pray that the surgery will go smoothly, that her body won’t react to the metal, and that her recovery will go well.  

Jodi Ensing (10936 2 Trax Trl, West Olive 49460) is scheduled to have surgery on March 31st to remove the mass on her ovary. 

Rick DeVisser (286 Dartmouth, Holland 49423) has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and surgery is scheduled for May 27th.     

Melissa VanHoven's (9000 Ransom St., Zeeland) biopsy was negative – no cancer!  Praise the LORD! 

Paula Glass (12055 Croswell St., West Olive 49460) was discharged from a hospital in Florida after receiving treatment for mesenteric panniculitis, an inflammation in the tissue of her abdominal area.  

Brent Scholten’s mom, Louise, is at Spectrum after a stroke.  She is improving daily. 

Karla VanBuren’s brother, Kraig, recently treated for a bleeding ulcer, is back to work part-time and improving slowly.

Lucas Smith (4556 Salem Drive, Hudsonville 49426) continues with physical and occupational therapy/rehab at the Blodget Rehab Center and is making great progress. 

Norm Nykamp (10684 W. Stockbridge Ct, Zeeland) is under Hospice care.  Please pray for Judy and family as they walk this road. 

Jay Kloosterman (219 S. State St., Zeeland) had four stents put in due to an aneurysm of the aorta.  Surgery went well, and he is recovering at home. 

Jim Kohsel (10446 Hunters Creek Dr., Zeeland) is recovering from back surgery. 

George Smith’s (711 Winter Sun Place, Holland 49424) surgery to correct an aortic aneurysm went very well, and he is recovering at home.

Karla Reeves, daughter-in-law of Gord & Shirley Reeves, was transferred to Blodgett Rehab and has a stomach port to help with feeding. Still a long way to go, but she has come so far.  Praise God!
