Our Summer Term in Córdoba, Argentina
The Córdoba Summer Term consists of a four-week Intensive Language and Culture session and is located at Argentina's oldest university, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). During this time, students take an intensive language and culture course, while discovering the culture and people of Argentina. Advanced students may also choose to participate in an internship or service learning opportunity during the term.
As the capital of Córdoba Province and the seat of Argentina's second largest metropolitan area, the city of Córdoba is a bustling educational and commercial center set at the foothills of the Sierra Chica mountain range in northern Argentina.
Córdoba today is recognized as a center for arts and learning in Argentina with its many universities, theatres, and museums.
Students enroll in between 3 to 6 credits. They have the option to choose one 80-hour intensive language course, one or two 45-hour content courses, or an internship or service learning opportunity.

About Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC):
Because of UNC's central role in the development of Córdoba, the city is popularly known as la Docta (the Scholar). Its prestige attracts about 100,000 students from all over Argentina and South America to study at the institution. By studying at UNC, students have the opportunity to meet a variety of Argentine and South American students in the classroom and through daily interaction.
The dates of the Summer Term are July 8th to August 5th, 2017.
To be eligible, studentsneed a 3.0 overall GPA. Enrollment in individual courses, such as language courses, may have additional prerequisites.
The application deadline for all summer programs is April 15th, 2017.
The Summer Term costs $4,500, and includes Tuition, Room and Board, Orientation, Health Insurance, Study Tours, and On-Site Support.

Registration is open until April 15th for the 2017 Seville Culture in the Classroom Summer Seminar.
During this seminar, participants focus on creating methods and materials to develop communicative competence in their students and introduce the linguistic and socio-cultural aspects of Spanish to their classroom. Click here for more information.
