Feature Film 'Galore' Wraps Filming this Week

Principal photography for the Australian feature film Galore wraps up this week in Canberra following a five-week shoot. The film, written and directed by Rhys Graham, interweaves the stories of four teenagers against the looming backdrop of the 2003 bushfires.

It stars Ashleigh Cummings (Tomorrow When The War Began), Toby Wallace (Nim’s Island 2) and Lily Sullivan (Mental). Galore is being produced by Philippa Campey (Bastardy) and executive produced by Sue Murray, Victoria Treole and Eleonora Granata-Jenkinson.

Galore is the first feature film to receive funding via the ACT Screen Investment Fund. A number of Canberra’s very own film making community worked as crew on the project, and the fruits of their labor can be seen in late-2013.
