We welcome two new members to Aletheia Photos

     Fjona Hill                                                       J.A. Mortram

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two new photographers to the collective.

In May we were joined by the super talented Jim Mortram and Fjona Hill. We have followed their work with great intrerest and respect for a long time and we're very excited to have them on-board.

Both Jim and Fjona work with still photography and multimedia and you can now view a selection of their inspiring and vital documentary work on our site.

Fjona Hill

Fjona Hill is a freelance documentary photographer based in the UK. Having previously practiced as a medical doctor, Fjona followed her creative aspirations into a new career in photography. She is drawn to explore the issues of community and isolation, inclusion and stigma. She has explored these subjects internationally, particularly focusing on the stigma reaped from injustices such as human trafficking, rape and slavery. At home, Fjona looks at the dynamics of contemporary society, enjoying the intimacy of backyard stories.

J. A Mortram

Jim is a documentary photographer and environmental portraitist based in East Anglia, United Kingdom. His work is centered on creating an expansive long-form photographic essay Small Town Inertia, which explores intimate and untold stories of marginalised individuals in the small rural community in which he lives. His photography has been awarded and published widely.
