Church Corn Roast
Sunday, September 20 •1:00 - 4:00 p.m. @ Wiens' home
Our entire church family is invited to Greg & Delores' acreage to enjoy our annual fall Corn Roast!  This is a great opportunity to spend some time catching up with friends and meeting new people to Calvary.  Fresh corn-on-the-cob and bbq'ed hot dogs will be provided.
To ensure everyone gets enough to eat, married couples and family’s please bring a Salad & Dessert; singles please bring one or the other; students please just come!  Please also bring your own lawn chair or picnic blanket to sit on.  Don't miss out!!  (Map directions will be available on Sunday).

Calvary Participating in ‘The Assembly’

Calvary is joining with many other churches throughout the Edmonton region in a concerted prayer effort to intercede for our nation.  The overall initiative called ‘The Assembly’, hosted by House of Prayer Edmonton, will take place over 6 days of 24/7 intercession.  Please join us on Monday, from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. (Calvary’s designated time) to pray for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done in Canada, prior to our fall election.  For more info, go to: www.theassembly.ca .  Victory Church on the Rock is located at 10445 - 172 St. NW, Edmonton.
 

Congratulations to Tanya Lyons
The University of the Nations under Youth With A Mission is pleased to announce that Tanya Lyons has successfully attained a degree of Master of Arts in Christian Formation and Discipleship.  The graduation ceremony took place in Townsville, Australia on Sept. 10, 2015.  Congratulations Tanya!
 

Ritchie Car Show

Ritchie will once again be hosting a classic car show as part of its Community League Day event.  The day will also feature a free breakfast, kids games, program displays in the hall, food trucks, and more.  Everyone is welcome!
 

Kairos Course in Edmonton
October 16 - November 8 @ Vietnamese Alliance Church
Kairos is an inspirational interactive study of the plan of God to align the heart of every Jesus follower with God's heart for the nations.  The goal of Kairos is to build momentum for the Canadian Church to make a key contribution to God's global mission, challenging Christians to reach out cross-culturally and to near-neighbour unreached peoples.  This course will run over 3 separate weekends.  For more info & to register, go to http://kairoscourse.ca/

Anger Management from a Christian Perspective

This highly informative and effective seminar covers such topics as 'Defining Anger, Cycle of Abuse, Letting Go of Anger, Self-Rejection, and Forgiveness'. Volunteers Needed for The Neighbour Centre
