Avoiding Social Media Lawsuits at Home and In Your Business        

Our featured speaker, Jill A. Devine, Esq. is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She dedicated the early part of her legal career to public service, having worked for Harrisburg’s Mayor, the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and the Washington County Commissioners before entering private practice.  Jill is a trail lawyer and a general practitioner, and in that capacity, has successfully defended a number of social medial lawsuits. 
Jill will inform attendees about the pitfalls of social media posts that can be used against you in the court of law.  Jill will cite cases from recent court cases and provide examples of social media dangers to avoid.

The SBA will offer the nationally acclaimed Emerging Leaders program in Pittsburgh.  The program is a federal training initiative specifically focused on executives of businesses poised for growth in historically challenged communities. The initiative provides these executives with the organizational framework, resource network, and motivation required to build sustainable businesses and promote the economic development within urban communities.  And best of all It’s FREE for participants.
There are no guarantees, but the statistics of those businesses completing the curriculum speak for themselves.
Graduates from Emerging Leaders have:
•          Created over 2,400 new full-time jobs
•          Secured federal, state, local and tribal contracts awards over $1 Billion
•          Accessed over $73 Million in new financing
•          95% were satisfied with the Emerging Leaders program.

Your New Beginning Starts Now...

Join the Counseling House and Off the Wall Arts for an afternoon of dreaming, visualizing and creating the life of your dreams at our first  Vision Board Workshop .
 Sunday, Feb. 28th 11am to 2pm.

Based on the law of attraction, a Vision Board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations that depict your desires, dreams, goals, and aspirations for your future.

We will provide you with everything you need to create your personal vision board including canvas, art supplies, and plenty of inspiration! However, we do encourage you to bring personal photos, momentos, magazines, or objects that you would like to include in your Vision Board.

You do not need to be an artist...just bring an open mind and we will guide you through the entire process. Cost is $45 and includes supplies and light refreshments. BYOB and your favortie snacks to share.
