Dear Mustafa,
I know neither of us have felt like writing to each other much during these depressing times. However, today I wanted to share with you a poem.

By luck of birth my family is the Wordsworth family and in 2020 we celebrated the 250th anniversary of Wordsworth's birth. We asked friends and family to send in readings of their favourite Wordsworth poems.

My friend, Karim Ahmad Khan, sent in his reading of 'Lines Written in Early Spring'. Karim is now the Chief Prosector of the International Criminal Court and has been much in demand over recent days as he started to investigate crimes in Ukraine.

Bearing this all in mind his choice of poem, 2 years ago, becomes very pertinent and poignant for today's situation.

I look forward to seeing you soon on your return from Karachi and for the world's return to 'normal'.

I would ask all readers to share this reading.
