Well the new iPhone 5 is here with the new operating system iOS 6. While there are many positive and negative reviews of the new iPhone I was most intrigued about the slightly larger screen size.
As you may have noticed apps that were developed prior to iOS 6 do not fill the entire space of the iPhone 5 screen. For most apps there is about a quarter inch blank space at the top and bottom of the screen.
Generally speaking it’s hardly noticeable, unless you have a white iPhone. Good news is you can have your app redesigned to fit the full screen. You would want think carefully to make sure it’s worth going through that amount of work first. If this is something that your company is interested in taking a look at please contact me, I’d be happy to discuss.
