All Aboard the Pony Train!

July 24 from 4-7 pm at Maples Farm Park
Hey kids tell your parents to take you to the best farmers market around this week and head to Bozrah. Best part for you besides the food and chance to dance to the tunes, take a ride on the Pony Train! First time here for the season come see the colorful train and cute ponies.  Cedar Knoll Farm of Lisbon will be joining us behind the Homestead offering rides for a fee. Children ages 2 through the early teen years enjoy riding on this unique train! They have the only horse powered "train" in New England!

Market Music this week Mike Harris of the Ernest Song Project joins us.  The Ernest Song project is, at its core, about connecting the head and the heart through music to help bring about a new human consciousness so that life on Earth can continue.
Special Guests this Week
Bayberry Meadow Herbs  welcome to the market, bringing along their herbal bath soaps, skin ointments, herbal blends for cooking, colonial teas, whipped shea butter moisturizers and sugar scrubs.
Burley Stone Soap started  because they were tired of the frilly names, of the flowery, perfumey scents, of the tiny sized bars of soap that wouldn’t last a week in the shower.  Seriously, they just wanted big, beefy bars of soap with scents a guy would like, and they couldn’t find any. Out of that frustration Burly Stone was born. Burly Stone, is the wingman for your shower! Also a Martha Stewart American Made 2015 Nominee.
Cannoli Truck yummy cannoli in an assortment of flavors made by Meriano's Bake Shoppe sure to make the whole family smile. The Cannoli Truck hand fills the most delicious and creative cannoli right at the Market to your hand!
Firefly Farms they're back! Bring your cooler and stock up on some farm raised locally raised meats right from their farm in North Stonington,CT. Beth brings us Certified Humane chicken, pork & beef.
Scotties Frozen Custard kids love Scotties, assorted flavors right off an old fashioned truck it's the best ice cream truck around.
Woodstock Hill Preserves are making their Market debut this week as a guest vendor. Located in Woodstock, CT they have been crafting jam for over 35 years. Woodstock Hill Preserves uses only first-quality fruit, direct from the farmer, and carefully hand-inspects each piece of fruit that goes into their preserves.  Never any water, fillers, artificial flavor, artificial color, or preservatives.  Limited size batches ensure the best possible flavor.
